Certified Nursing Assistant Program
Our state approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program is taught by a licensed nurse who trains students to assist patients in performing basic care at varying levels depending on each patient’s needs. The CNA also reports changes in the patient’s mental or physical status to a licensed nurse. Students receive both theory and classroom lab practice before attending to patients at a clinical facility. The program prepares students for StateTesting. Successful passage of this State exam provides students with certification as a CNA.
